Trickster Online - Coral Field One

Coral Field one is the first monster area that you will enter in Trickster Online. There isn’t a whole heck of a lot going on here, but it is a pretty good area to start getting to know the game. If you have any concerns about using the controls, attacking, leveling up, equipping stuff, etc. then this is a good area to practice.

The only monster is the Torobbie. He will most likely not even damage your character at all so kill him at will. The items that he drops include carrots, Entry Applications, and eventually a Torobbie Card. None of these items is particularly valuable though carrots can be used to restore HP.

For drilling types, you can drill up crystal, 5 galder coupons and cocoa.

Trickster Online - Guild Clerk Esther’s First Quest

As soon as you land in Coral Beach you will be next to Guild Clerk Esther. She is your key to reaching level 12 or 13 as quickly as possible. After equipping your young egg you should talk to her immediately. She will give you a quest to find an “Entry Application”. This quest, of course, is dead simple.

But first after getting the quest you should talk to Blacksmith Marx and take his quiz. It only takes a minute and you can use the 5 bronze gemstones later.

Actually solving Guild Clerk Esther’s Quest is very easy. Just go to the teleporter to Coral Field 1 - Sunny Beach. There you will find lots of little Torrobies. I recommend that you kill them until you reach level 3. Sooner or later one will drop an Entry Application. Or you may find one lying on the ground. Pick it up and take it to Esther.

Trickster Online Playing a Buffalo (Overview)

Playing a buffalo is about as easy as playing a bunny. In fact it is pretty much the same. You will want to put 4 into power (no choice here) 1 into magic, 1 into sense, and 4 into charm. You want your charm high in order to get more hit points and to improve your defense abilities. Of course you can always make your charm bit lower if you really want to improve your drilling abilities or increase your chance to get criticals.

Now there are several different ways to build your character moving forward but the easiest and most straightforward is to simply put all of your points into AP (attack power). This will allow you to do the most damage with all of your skills. Focusing on skills that deal damage like shockwave and burning rave etc. will really help you dish out the damage and make it so that you can level your character faster.

Trickster Online - Playing a Bunny (Overview)

Playing a bunny or buffalo is the easiest and I think for many players the most fun. The skill progression is relatively simple and if you do take some useless skills along the way they won’t significantly hurt your abiltiy to play the game which means that you can play around with your character build without ruining your chances of having a playable character.

In general you will play by killing monsters and drilling only when necessary. Put your level up points into AP and you can’t go wrong. Even without using skills you will have a strong enough attack that you will be able to handle most, if not all monsters that come your way.

Tradition says that you should build your bunny with 4 in power, 1 in magic, 1 in sense and 4 in charm. Truth be told, pretty much any build will do you good. Putting 2 into magic won’t hurt because it will boost your magic defense. Putting 2 into sense won’t kill you because it will make your drilling a bit better. Me, I generally stick with tradition.

Trickster Online - The Tutorials

There are 4 people you need to talk to during the tutorial stage after you get off the boat. Be sure to talk to them ALL and to go through their entire dialogue sequence. Not only do they give you some useful information but they also hand out the rookie equipment which is what you need to get started with.

Be sure to equip everything before you have to kill the cute little bunny and get the carrot. Also be sure to learn the starter skill before you go much further. This skill will serve you through about level 5 and should not be ignored. Once you have learned your skill and have finished each of the four tutorial sequences you will be ready to move on to Blooming Cora. As soon as you arrive in Blooming Cora you will want to open your equipment and items menus (E and I on the keyboard) and equip your pet the young egg.

If you think of your pet in terms of equipment it is easier and keeping your equipment up to date is always important in Trickster Online.

Trickster Online Getting Off The Boat

When you start in Trickster Online you will be on a ship heading out to the island where the game is played. There are a few people to talk to but they don’t really have much to say. If you want to get Thiefmon’s bad check then go and talk to him. Otherwise just click on the captain and talk to him until he gives you to option to get off at Blooming Cora.

Trickster Online has a lot of tutorials and help along the way to help get new players oriented to the game so take advantage of the help that they give to save yourself some time and frustration later.
